Restash FAQ

What is the Restash Program?

Our Restash program is a way for you to clear out your fabric and quilting supplies—and give them a second life! Whether you’re downsizing, decluttering, or handling a larger estate, we’re here to help your stash find a new home.

What items do you accept?

We accept all quilting-related items, including:

  • Yardage (any size, though we only pay for pieces over ¼ yard or fat quarter)
  • Precuts and bundles
  • Quilt kits
  • eulers and quilting notions
  • Etc.

We’re not brand-specific—quality is what matters most.

How does pricing work?

We don’t have a set price list. Instead, we evaluate each restash based on:

  • Overall quality
  • Quantity
  • Condition of fabric and notions

High-quality quilting cotton can go up to $5/yard, but most stashes are priced as a bulk offer.

Do I need an appointment?

Nope! Just drop off your restash at the store. We don’t sort it while you’re here, so after reviewing everything, we’ll contact you by phone or email with an offer.

What if I have a large stash or estate?

If you’re helping a loved one who is downsizing, moving into long-term care, or has passed away, we can arrange a day to come to you. Please contact us to schedule a convenient time.

What happens to items you don’t buy if I don't want them back?

We don’t throw anything out!

  • Lower-quality fabrics are donated to guilds and organizations that can use them.
  • Unusable items are sent to textile recycling.

Do you only buy current or trendy fabrics?

Not at all! We’re interested in all eras and styles, as long as the quality is good.

I have more questions—how do I contact you?

Feel free to call, email, or drop by the shop! We’re always happy to chat.
