Foundation Paper Piecing Class Level 2 - March 12th

Let’s dive deeper into the world of Foundation Paper Piecing with this classic Sunflower pattern. In this class you will be working with smaller pieces, sharper angles, and more segments than the previous class offered. Your sunflower can be made up of as many yellow/orange fabrics as you like, OR just one fabric if you prefer. The same goes for the centre seed-pod. The pattern calls for three different browns, but use what you have on hand.

Requirements:

This class is designed for those who participated in the Introduction to Foundation Paper Piecing class, or those with previous experience with FPP.

Date: Wednesday, March 12th 10am - 3pm

You are required to cut the following fabrics before the class:

• Ten (10) 5” squares of various yellows/oranges OR just one colour fabric if you want a solid look
• Thirty (30) 3” squares of various browns OR just one colour fabric if you want a solid look
• One (1) Fat Quarter for the background which we will cut in class as we sew

Please bring the following:

• Sewing machine with the following feet: straight line foot and if possible, an open-toe straight line foot
• Small ruler (2 1/2” X 12” or similar) or Add A Quarter ruler if you have one
• Rotary cutter, fabric scissors, and small snips
• Pins and Magic Clips if you have them
• Seam ripper and a pair of tweezers.
• 50 weight or less coordinating colour of thread

• Foundation Paper on which to sew your Sunflower
• Cutting Mats
• Irons & Ironing boards

Quilting Class Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Participants:

Participants who wish to cancel their registration for a quilting class must notify Quiltiful at least 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class date may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to a cancellation fee of 50%. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class time or for no-shows.

Rescheduling:

Participants may request to reschedule their quilting class to another available date with no additional fee, provided they notify Quiltiful at least 48 hours in advance of the original class date. Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the class may be subject to a rescheduling fee of $25.00.

Class Cancellation by Quiltiful:

Quiltiful reserves the right to cancel a quilting class due to unforeseen circumstances, low enrollment, or other reasons. In the event of class cancellation by Quiltiful, participants will be notified promptly, and a full refund or the option to reschedule to another available date will be offered.

Refunds:

Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 7 business days from the date of cancellation request. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment used for registration.

Special Circumstances:

Quiltiful may consider exceptions to the cancellation policy in cases of documented emergencies or extenuating circumstances. Participants should contact Quiltiful to discuss such situations.
