Quilting 101 January 23rd & 30th

This beginner table runner is a snap to sew. Students in the class will learn the basics of quilting including cutting, sewing and pressing fabric. It's a great starter class for the students to learn the basics of quiltmaking.

Dates and Duration:

Two Thursdays: January 23rd and 30th

There are two times available: Morning from 10am to 1pm, or Evening 6pm to 9pm both days

Materials Supplied:

We supply cutting mats, rotary cutters and irons. We have a limited selection of rulers and may not have the size you like. Please feel free to bring your preferred tools with you.

Materials to Bring:

Sewing machine (Make sure it's in good working condition with all necessary accessories like bobbins, presser feet, needles and manual), fabric, thread, pins, small pair of scissors for snipping thread, seam ripper, any preferred quilting tools. 

Course Outline

You will learn about the types of fabric, fabric selection, what quilting supplies you need, basic quilting stitches, cutting your quilt pieces, sewing pieces together, pressing pieces, piecing your top, backing, batting and binding your table runner.

Quilting Class Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Participants:

Participants who wish to cancel their registration for a quilting class must notify Quiltiful at least 7 days prior to the scheduled class date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class date may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to a cancellation fee of 50%. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class time or for no-shows.

Rescheduling:

Participants may request to reschedule their quilting class to another available date with no additional fee, provided they notify Quiltiful at least 48 hours in advance of the original class date. Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the class may be subject to a rescheduling fee of $25.00.

Class Cancellation by Quiltiful:

Quiltiful reserves the right to cancel a quilting class due to unforeseen circumstances, low enrollment, or other reasons. In the event of class cancellation by Quiltiful, participants will be notified promptly, and a full refund or the option to reschedule to another available date will be offered.

Refunds:

Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 7 business days from the date of cancellation request. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment used for registration.

Special Circumstances:

Quiltiful may consider exceptions to the cancellation policy in cases of documented emergencies or extenuating circumstances. Participants should contact Quiltiful to discuss such situations.
